A self-assessment tool for agencies, provides guidance around appropriate entity structures for delivery of government goods and services.

The Northern Territory Government achieves its objectives and delivers goods and services to the public through a range of entity structures including government agencies, government businesses, statutory bodies and private sector service delivery models.

The Commercial Asset Management Framework has been developed for use as a self-assessment tool by agencies, to guide consideration of the appropriate governance structure to efficiently and effectively deliver government’s objectives.

Development of the framework was recommended by the Fiscal Strategy Panel final report.

The framework is to inform organisational reviews of government agencies as part of the government’s Organisational Review Framework PDF (817.8 KB).
