The Department of Treasury and Finance’s social indicator briefs, which drew on various external sources of data, have been replaced with links to social statistical publications.

Northern Territory social briefs provide the latest key social statistics for the Territory. These briefs cover a broad range of social indicators, such as population, family and community, health and welfare, education and training, employment, economic resources and other areas of social concern. The briefs draw on various sources of data including Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, Australian Bureau of Statistics and National Centre for Vocational Education Research.
