Fraud, improper conduct and corruption control

The Department of Treasury and Finance’s Fraud and improper conduct control policy outlines the department’s agency control structure which is designed to foster ethical and professional business practices, increase accountability, and contribute to high-quality results.

The policy applies to Department of Treasury and Finance employees, as well as third parties undertaking activities for or on behalf of the department, such as contractors, consultants, and board and committee members.

The policy is underpinned by the Fraud and corruption control plan and procedure, which outlines how the Department of Treasury and Finance prevents, detects and responds to fraud and corruption and ensures compliance with the requirements of ICAC act, the Code of Conduct and the Treasurer’s Directions.
