2020 Election commitment costing

In line with previous practice, on 4 August 2020, the Department of Treasury and Finance wrote to all major parties offering to undertake an assessment of the extent to which their 2020 election commitments would impact the preliminary budget estimate. Responses were requested by 14 August, to allow the assessments to be undertaken and published by 20 August.

A response was received from the Territory Labor Party on 14 August 2020. A copy of the advice provided to the Territory Labor Party regarding the assessment of its 2020 election commitments is available here.

A response was received from the Country Liberal Party on 19 August 2020. A copy of the advice provided to the Country Liberal Party regarding the assessment of its 2020 election commitments is available here.

Territory Alliance declined the offer.
